Terms of use

A clear basis for
using BriefAhead.

The service

BriefAhead helps businesses explore selected public-sector procurement notices. Free browsing includes filters, source descriptions and a shortlist stored in your browser. BriefAhead is an independent service and is not part of, or endorsed by, the UK government.

Check the original record

Information can change after we retrieve it. This selection does not include every UK procurement, and a match does not confirm your eligibility. Check the official notice and full documents for current requirements, dates, amendments and instructions. Published values can cover multiple years, lots or a framework; missing information is labelled rather than estimated.

Opportunity stages

An open opportunity has a published response process. A buying plan or published contract end date is context to investigate and does not guarantee a new tender. Awarded and closed records are labelled separately. BriefAhead does not submit bids or guarantee contracts, revenue or procurement outcomes.

Your shortlist

Without an account, preferences and saved public records stay in the browser you use. They will not automatically appear on another device and can be lost if browser data is cleared. You can export your shortlist from Preferences.

Subscriptions

Personalised email briefings are listed at £49 per month, but subscriptions are not currently available. No payment or subscription is created by browsing or making an enquiry. The total price, service limits and billing terms will be provided before paid checkout.

Reasonable use and support

Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it, bypass access controls or misuse its contact form. Procurement participation takes place through the buyer’s own process. If you find inaccurate information or a technical problem, please contact BriefAhead with the notice link and relevant details.
